23 proyectos españoles seleccionados en la convocatoria ERC- Starting Grant 2020

Se han dado a conocer los 436 proyectos ganadores de la convocatoria Starting Grant 2020 que recibirán unos 677 millones de euros.

El Consejo Europeo de Investigación ha anunciado hoy los beneficiarios de la convocatoria Starting Grant 2020 que financiará, con 677 millones de euros, a 436 investigadores para que lideren y consoliden grupos de investigación con líneas de trabajo en la frontera del conocimiento. 23 de estos investigadores trabajarán en centros españoles, con proyectos de en torno a 1,5 millones de euros. Más de 33,5 millones de euros van a centros españoles. España es el quinto país de la Unión Europea en número de ayudas con un retorno del 7,13% EU27; 5,88 EU28. La lista la encabezan Alemania y Reino Unido con 88 y 62 proyectos respectivamente.

La convocatoria ha tenido una tasa de éxito del 13,3% y las ayudas se han distribuido en 25 países de la Unión Europea y países asociados, con candidatos/as de 40 nacionalidades diferentes.
