 Biocheck.UGent

Biocheck.UGent is an online tool that enables you to generate an objective score of the level of both external and internal biosecurity on a farm and to provide tailor-made advice on how this level can be improved. The score is calculated using science- and risk-based algorithms, based on the input provided through the completion of a survey on the organization, management, and disease control of the farm. The major advantages of using Biocheck.UGent are: • an objective and science-based scoring of the biosecurity level (internal & external biosecurity) on the farm, benchmarked against the average biosecurity level in the region or country • tailor-made biosecurity plan to improve the situation on the farm • healthier animals and more sustainable production • bigger effect of additional disease prevention measures (e.g. vaccination, feed additives) You can use Biocheck.UGent: • in an integrated approach: scoring and tailor-made advice on biosecurity as part of a broader farm management tool/dashboard our offer: we provide access to Biocheck.UGent via our API (Application Programming Interface) so that you can integrate it into your broader management tool to serve your clients • as a stand-alone service: our offer: (packages of) single-user licenses with tailor-made advice on biosecurity This can be combined/complemented with our e-learning modules and online/onsite training.
With Biocheck.UGent we focus on biosecurity as the first and primary level of disease prevention in animal production.
