 Genetic characterization of antimicrobial resistance

Isolates that show a resistance phenotype of interest to public health or animal health, are analyzed in depth using molecular techniques (molecular detection, Next Generation Sequencing, etc.). Linking antimicrobial resistance seen in animals, food and man, including samples of the environment and wildlife. Identify new mechanisms associated with resistance to major antibiotics used in human or veterinary medicine. Evaluate the use of new techniques for detection of antimicrobial resistance mechanisms in our isolates.
